6. Parkway School District is sponsoring a trip to the 2013 Inauguration. IF you are interested in applying to attend this four day trip see Mrs. Ryan in room 1305, lower level Social Studies.
7. Cardinal Straight A Ticket vouchers are now in!! Check the listing on the bulletin board outside of the bookstore to see if your name is listed in the Straight A Student section of the St. Louis Post Dispatch from April 5. If so, please come to the Athletic Office to pick up your free ticket voucher.
8. KNOWLEDGE OPENS DOORS! South High's Summer Academy runs from June 4 - July 6th. Enrichment and Remediation courses are available. Registration forms can be picked up and turned in at the main office or the
counseling loft.
9. There will be a mandatory wrestling meeting in room 2305 immediately after school Monday May 21st for all wrestlers or anyone planning on wrestling in the winter. If you do not have a ride, see Coach Lake ahead of time.
10. Any girl interested in playing basketball next year needs to attend a mandatory meeting on Monday, May 21st at 11:45 a.m. in Coach Williams' room (1307).
11. Congratulations to members of the Freshmen Ladies Chamber Choir for taking first place at the Music in the Parks St. Louis competition. They received 96 out of 100 points!
12. Congratulations to the boys baseball team on winning the district baseball title. They defeated Lafayette on Tuesday 8-4. They will play the winner of Rockwood Summit and Vianney in the sectional game next Tuesday, May 22. Way to go South!
