Activity Description: Peer Teaching a district-wide character education program for juniors and seniors to teach lessons concerning self esteem to middle-school students. Applicants are interviewed for the 25 available spots at the end of their sophomore year. In the fall, each Parkway high school trains their new peer teachers at an overnight retreat at Camp Wyman in Eureka, MO designed to help increase leadership and using our values to be postitive role models for the younger generations. Peer Teaching emphasizes uniqueness, connectedness, integrity, and responsibility; the core lessons they teach to middle-school students.
