     PSAT:

Parkway North will administer the PSAT/NMSQT on the national test date of October 11.  This is an optional exam for juniors and sophomores which measure reading, writing, language, and math skills, and is one assessment of relative readiness for college.  Juniors' results are eligible for National Merit recognition.  Sophomores' scores are for practice only.

Parkway North will only administer on the national test date of October 11 and there is no make-up date. PSAT exam takers will be excused from 5th and 6th block classes and will return to regular schedules after lunch.

Only juniors and sophomores who sign up in the bookstore will take the PSAT. The cost is $20 (cash, check and credit cards accepted).  The deadline to sign up is 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29th, or when we meet testing capacity- whichever comes first. Please fill out the google form: https://goo.gl/v695WJ , you will then need to pay in the bookstore.

Guidance staff will accept PSAT sign ups at Open House on Thursday, August 24.

SPECIAL NOTE:  If you believe you meet eligibility for test accommodations as documented in an IEP or 504 plan, contact Mr. Paul Arthur or Christy Wills by August 22 to apply for PSAT accommodations.  Mr. Arthur's contact information is parthur@parkwayschools.net or 415-7617 and Christy Wills contact information is cwills@parkwayschools.net or 314-415-7621.

    ACT Scores:

ACT reports that the state test scores will be mailed to Parkway North and the student's home address approximately 5-8 weeks after answer documents are received.  During the pre-test test administration, students were encouraged to create their own ACT web account at www.actstudent.org.  This is where students are able to access their scores and send the scores to colleges.  If a web account was created prior to testing, the scores may be available around 4 weeks after answer documents are received.  If a web account was not created prior to testing, ACT suggests that students wait until receiving the paper score report to create the account for future use.
