How Project List was Developed
During the 2013-14 school year, several hundred Parkway residents participated in a series of meetings to discuss the ongoing maintenance and repair needs of our school buildings. Their work was part of the “Facilities 2020” long-range planning effort. After nearly a year of study, a final report was presented to the Parkway Board of Education in the spring of 2014.
Based on their recommendations and input from school staff, the Parkway Board voted unanimously to place a bond issue on the November 2014 ballot. The proposal was approved by voters and projects will be completed over the next four years (through the summer of 2018).
