Mission Statement
The aim or mission of the Finance Department is to support the Parkway tradition of educational excellence through reporting all financial matters in an accurate and timely basis, to comply with local, state and federal laws to get the most funds possible, the best return on investment, the best service from vendors, to have the proper equipment and supplies in our school and administrative buildings and to have the highest quality of teachers and administrative staff to provide the best education.
To accomplish these tasks, the Finance Department is committed to doing their jobs accurately and correctly the first time to the best of their abilities, to meet or exceed our customers’ requirements as well as our own, and strongly encourage employees at all levels to be involved in the decision-making process.

Office of Inspector General of the ED Hotline Information
If the district receives a grant or sub-grant from the U.S. Department of Education (ED) under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, the district will display in a public place the hotline contact information for the Office of Inspector General of the ED. This ensures that any individual who observes, detects or suspects improper use of taxpayer funds can easily report such improper use. (20 U.S.C. § 7933)
The hotline number for the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Inspector General (OIG) is 1-800-647-8733. Operators are available Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM CST, and Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM CST, except on federal holidays.
