Parkway Food Pantry
The mission of the Parkway Food Pantry is to provide access to food, nutrition and support to the Parkway community so all students can be capable, curious, caring and confident learners.
For the 2025-2026 school year, the Parkway Food Pantry will continue to distribute food boxes monthly.
How we have evolved
Parkway’s District Social Workers founded Parkway Food Pantry in October 2017 as a weekend backpack program. When needs for food and household supplies increased with the pandemic in March 2020, the pantry pivoted services to focus on serving whole families and providing essentials that were so hard to obtain at that time.
As we enter our 8th year in operation, we remain committed to providing quality food and household essentials to Parkway families and employees. Community partnerships make this possible, including those with Parkway Food Pantry Partners, St. Louis Area Foodbank, St. Louis Diaper Bank, school PTOs, student organizations, faith communities, and generous neighbors!
We look forward to continuing to provide services for students and families. Families may choose one date each month to pick up food. Please see the dates below for our hours.

A word of thanks
Since March 2020, the food pantry has provided thousands of meals for students and their families. None of this would have been possible without the support of our community and partners. 100% of donations are used for purchasing food and other items for families to access. We are incredibly grateful for every drive hosted and every dollar raised to ensure that we create a more equitable learning environment for all students.
