LEAD Information

  • Our school believes that everyone can be a leader. The Lead initiative is geared toward "helping students and staff lead their own lives (personal leadership), work effectively with others (interpersonal leadership), and make a positive contribution to their surroundings (civic leadership)." Students are being "leaders" when they use skills such as teamwork, empathy, communication, time management, and initiative - all of which are embedded in the 7 Habits and PRICE core values. Students will have at least 3 different opportunities during the school year to develop their leadership skills: (1) as members of a Lead Time group, (2) volunteering for a schoolwide leadership role, and (3) classroom leadership roles.
