English as a Second Language Classes
We offer classes for adults whose first language is not English. Students in beginning classes learn to speak, listen for understanding, read, and write English. Intermediate and advanced students have the opportunity to improve conversation, grammar, pronunciation, reading, and writing.
2025-2026 ESL Registration & Session Dates
Registration for spring classes is now CLOSED. Spring classes will begin on Monday, March 23rd. Scroll down to the summer section for information on summer ESL classes.
Interested students must attend orientation and pre-testing before beginning classes. The last day to complete pre-testing for the spring session is March 10th. Anyone testing after this date will not be able to begin until our summer session begins in July.
Post-testing is mandatory for each session and will be scheduled for the week after classes end.
Session 3: Classes begin Monday, March 23 and continue through Thursday, May 14. All students must post-test during their scheduled appointment date and time (May 18-21).

Summer 2026 ESL Registration & Dates
Registration for summer classes will open on March 19, 2026. Please check back at that time or complete the Interest Survey here.
All students must attend orientation and pre-testing before beginning the summer classes. Orientation and testing should take one day to complete and you will schedule it for either July 1 or July 2. Anyone testing after this date will not be able to attend summer classes.
Post-testing is mandatory. All students must post-test during their scheduled appointment date and time (August 24-26).
