High School Equivalency & Adult Basic Education Classes
We offer a variety of free adult education services for individuals 17 and older. Classes are individualized. Students work at their own pace on the skills they need.
In classes you will:
- Improve basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Develop Workforce skills
- Prepare for the Missouri High School Equivalency Tests (HSE/GED)
- Prepare for Postsecondary Education
- Prepare for the WorkKeys and Job Placement tests
By attending classes you can:

- Earn your HS diploma/credential
- Qualify for a better job
- Prepare for college or a technical school
2026-2027 GED/High School Equivalency Preparation Registration & Schedule
Register now for fall classes. After registering, you will be asked to schedule your orientation and testing appointment, Testing will begin on Monday, August 31 and the classes will begin on Tuesday, September 3. Orientation and testing should take 2 - 3 days to complete.
