Jeff Todd elected president of Parkway School Board

4/23/2020 -- Last night, Jeff Todd, Deborah A. (Debbie) Hopper and Kristy Klein Davis took the oath of office for the Parkway School Board. This is the third term for Hopper and the second term for Todd and Klein Davis. Todd, Hopper and Klein Davis will serve three-year terms.

Due to three candidates filing for three open director positions, the Parkway School District qualified for a “non-election” this year and therefore school board candidates’ names did not appear on the April 7 ballot.

Superintendent Keith Marty said, “We are pleased to have strong leadership and continuity on our school board during these challenging times. The board has been very flexible and supportive of our efforts. They are truly keeping students, families and Parkway staff members at the heart of their work.”

Jeff Todd was elected board president and Deborah Hopper as vice president. Todd served as school board president and Hopper as vice president last year.
