The ACT is a curriculum-based achievement exam that measures what students have learned in school. The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science, each scored on a scale of 1–36.
Beginning in 2010, all juniors in Parkway began taking the ACT exam at no cost to students. Parkway offers the test to everyone in an effort to assist high school students as they prepare for graduation and beyond.
