Megan Gilbertson Moonfall [PCH'09]
After graduating from PCH, I completed my bachelors degree at Webster University. I then moved to Mendoza, Argentina between the years 2012-2016. Living outside of the US opened so many possibilities for me in terms of career paths, thanks to my life experiences and language skills. Special shout-out to Señor Kelty, my favorite Spanish teacher at PCH for inspiring me to master another language!
Once I returned to the US I settled in St. Louis for a short time, where I was able to figure out the career path that I would find fulfilling and appropriate for my skills. I decided to relocate to Columbia, MO for a job opportunity in higher education at Columbia College. I have since worked in several departments, but I ended up landing my dream job is 2021 in International Student Services. Everyday I have the privilege to work with the college’s international student population to make sure their needs are met and their college experience is as unique as they were hoping.
In 2022 I married my amazing husband (and PNH ‘10 grad) Cory Muehlebach. Upon marriage we both changed our last names to Moonfall. I would have never guessed that I’d end up marrying a Parkway alum!
This month (March 2023) I have accepted a job offer at Linfield University in McMinnville, OR. Some of my PCH friends know that I’m originally from Oregon and I’m thrilled at the opportunity to move back. I will continue to work in International Education with both international students and study abroad programs. I’m so glad to have found my life’s passion and someone amazing to share it with.
