After 40 years in publishing, PR and marketing communications, Nancy Jenkins, LPC, has launched her retirement career as a mental health counselor in the KC metro. "My plan is to keep working into my 70s and maybe 80s for a day to two days a week. Counseling is a way to giveback and stay engaged in the community," she said. "I observed my parents aging and dying and learned how important it is to stay mentally AND physically engaged with life. Use it or lose it!"
