2/6/2024 -- Ashley Deckelman, assistant principal at Oak Brook Elementary, has been selected as the Missouri Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year by the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals (MAESP).

By rewarding excellent assistant principals, MAESP highlights the importance of developing principal talent and recognizes the critical leadership assistant principals provide to support teaching and learning in Missouri schools. MAESP specifically developed this recognition to showcase and recognize assistant principals as critical contributors to school communities across our state.

Deckelman will be recognized during the MAESP Leadership Conference to be held March 2-5 at the Margaritaville Lake Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri.
