2/14/2024 -- As you may know, we are currently designing our next five-year strategic plan to serve Parkway students. This is what we have heard and our next steps.

Project Parkway Focus Groups
Last fall, nearly 900 students, staff and community members provided input on our future direction through focus groups. 

• The following key theme categories emerged: commitment to equity, resource allocation, student well-being, achievement, personalization and real-world connection.

State of the District
On January 31, we hosted a community-wide “State of the District” event for parents and staff to learn more about our goals around belonging, achievement and relevant learning. Parents and staff were invited to share their thoughts about what we should do more or less of moving forward to inform our strategic plan.

• Key themes emerged including more focus on student mental health, achievement gaps, equity and flexible, real-world learning.

• At the event, we also shared data on our current reality.

Thank you to the hundreds of community members who attended the event and shared feedback on each of the key areas and our priorities moving forward.

We will share a draft outline of our strategic plan goals at the upcoming Project Parkway meeting.
