11/28/2023 -- Congratulations to the boys swim and dive teams from Central, West and South high schools for finishing first, second and fourth at the MSHAA Class 1 State Championship.

Carter Crook, South High senior, is state champion in the Class 1 boys 100-yard backstroke with an impressive time of 49.79.

Central High had several individual state champions in addition to several new records. Central High’s boys swim and dive team won back-to-back state champions.

The South High varsity boys swim and dive team is led by head coach Blakeleigh Mathes and assistant coaches Jeremy Nichols, Elizabeth Andrews, and Jenoa Olson.
