5/10/2023 -- Pierremont Elementary is one of only eight schools in Missouri to be named a 2023 Gold Star School.

The program, which aligns with the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, recognizes schools for outstanding academic achievement or for performing at high levels while serving a significant proportion of disadvantaged students.

Pierremont will be considered for the Blue Ribbon Award from the U.S. Department of Education, which will be announced this fall.

Seventeen Parkway schools are National Blue Ribbon Schools, and 19 are Missouri Gold Star Schools.
