Dance Marathon SUCCESS!

Updated 3/9/2020
Central High's first ever Dance Marathon was held over the weekend. For more info about DM click here. The student co-chairs of this new charitable endeavor at PCH were Sydney Kolker (11), Lexie Lander (12), and Sophie Sokolik (11). These students, along with their student exec board and many other participating PCH students, raised just under $25k for local children's hospitals through Children's Miracle Network. The original goal was 10k and at Thanksgiving, the group had raised just over $80. The local coordinator from CMN shared with me that this was the most successful first year DM she has witnessed. Special thanks to Kemba Metropoulos and Sarah Reeves who served as faculty sponsors; their support was critical to the success of this effort! A few pics below and a video of the end of the night reveal of the fundraising total is here. In the video the students are chanting, "FTK" which stands for "For The Kids." Congratulations to all involved in this tremendous effort!
