Parkway School Board candidate filing begins Dec. 13

11/17/2016 -- Three director positions are open on the Parkway Board of Education, each for a three-year term, in the April 4, 2017 election. Interested and qualified persons may file in person at the Parkway Administrative Center, 455 N. Woods Mill Rd., Chesterfield, Mo., 63017. Names will appear on the ballot in chronological order of filing.


Filing begins on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 8 a.m. On the first day of filing, the Administrative Center will open at 6 a.m.  Candidates will be assigned a filing number in the order of appearance. Candidates may obtain a filing number as they arrive from the District security officer who will be stationed at the front door of the Administrative Center. Candidate filing continues during the District’s regular business hours through January 17, 2017.  Business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Filing will not occur on days that the District is closed due to inclement weather. However, filing will occur on the first and last day of filing even if the District is closed due to inclement weather. Filing will also not occur on the following holidays: December 26, January 2, and January 16. Filing will end on January 17, 2017 at 5 p.m.


At the time of filing, applicants should provide a biographical statement of no more than 200 words and a recent digital photograph, which will be released to the media and included in Parkway publications.
