Aaron Wills named principal of Sorrento Springs Elementary

Aaron Wills 4/6/2018 -- Aaron Wills has been selected as the principal of Sorrento Springs Elementary School, effective July 1. The board of education voted unanimously in support of the recommendation.

Wills is a very familiar face in Parkway. He is currently serving as the principal of Claymont Elementary in Parkway, where he has been the principal for 11 years.

Superintendent Keith Marty said, “Aaron is recognized as one of the finest elementary school principals in our district. He is a positive leader who is committed to developing relationships with students, families, staff and the community he serves. He has an openness and communication style - a natural leadership - that we know will be a wonderful fit for the Sorrento Springs community.”

Prior to joining Parkway, Wills was an elementary principal in the Union School District for five years and an elementary classroom teacher for eight years. Wills holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Missouri St. Louis. He holds two master’s degrees in elementary education and elementary administration and a bachelor of arts in business administration.

Wills replaces Dr. Kathy Stewart, who is retiring at the end of June. Stewart has been principal at Sorrento Springs the past four years.
