Kimberly Rowan selected as principal of Ross Elementary
4/15/2021 -- Earlier today, Superintendent Keith Marty announced that Kimberly Rowan has been named principal at Ross Elementary School, effective July 1. The board of education voted unanimously in support of the recommendation.
Rowan is currently the assistant principal of Ballwin Elementary in the Rockwood School District where she has served for four years. Prior to this leadership role, Rowan spent 12 years teaching in elementary classrooms in both Kirkwood and Rockwood schools.
Rowan holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Maryville University, a master’s in educational administration from Lindenwood University and a bachelor’s in elementary education from the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
Superintendent Keith Marty said, “We are so fortunate to have Kimberly as a member of our Parkway leadership. She brings a background to Parkway as a leader who supports all learners and has high expectations for all.”
When Dr. Rowan accepted the position, she shared “I am truly humbled and honored to be able to serve the Ross family and call myself a North Star!”
Rowan replaces Lisa Luna who is retiring.
