2/28/2023 -- Parkway selected its 2024 elementary, middle, high school and the district Teachers of the Year. 

Tyra Hall, (photo top right) librarian at Ross Elementary, was selected as the District Teacher of the Year, as well as the district’s Elementary Teacher of the Year.

Morgan Schneider, (photo middle right) band teacher at Central Middle, is the Middle School Teacher of the Year, and Jennifer Bannecker, (photo bottom right) reading specialist at North High, is the High School Teacher of the Year.

All the Teachers of the Year will be recognized at the March 13 Board of Education meeting and on April 15 at Parkway’s Appreciation Evening event.

Congratulations to all of our 2024 Teachers of the Year.

The elementary, middle, high school and district teachers of the year are selected by a committee comprised of former Parkway district-level teachers of the year. The Parkway Alumni Association sponsors the Teacher of the Year program and awards each teacher with a crystal apple and cash stipend.
