11/25/2019 -- Three director positions are open on the Parkway Board of Education, each for a three-year term, in the April 7, 2020 election. Interested and qualified persons may file in person at the Parkway Administrative Center, 455 N. Woods Mill Rd., Chesterfield, MO, 63017. Filing begins on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at 8 a.m. Names will appear on the ballot in chronological order of filing.
On the first day of filing, the Administrative Center will open at 6 a.m. Candidates will be assigned a filing number in the order of appearance and will obtain their number as they arrive at the front door of Parkway’s Administrative Center. Candidate filing continues during regular business hours through January 21, 2020. Business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Filing will not occur on days that the District is closed due to inclement weather. However, filing will occur on the first and last days of filing even if the District is closed due to inclement weather. Filing will not occur during the holiday break, which is December 23 through January 1. Filing will end on January 21, 2020, at 5 p.m.
At the time of filing, applicants should provide a biographical statement of no more than 200 words and a recent digital photograph, which will be released to the news media and included in Parkway publications and website.
