Six Parkway teachers achieve National Board Certification
1/21/2020 -- The National Board of Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) recently released the scores for National Board Certification candidates. Parkway is pleased to announce the names of six teachers who are now National Board Certified Teachers (NBCT). They are:

The teachers were recognized by the Parkway Board of Education on January 15.
Parkway now has 64 teachers who have achieved the status of National Board Certification. In the teaching programs, individuals meet high standards in content, practice, reflective research and application. The certification program is quite challenging and take teachers to a new level in their craft and professional journey.
National Board Certified Teachers are highly accomplished educators who meet high and rigorous standards. Like board-certified doctors and accountants, teachers who achieve National Board Certification have done so through intensive study, expert evaluation, self-assessment and peer review.
