• Sorrento celebrated its 50th Anniversary during the 2023-24 school year.  A grand ceremony was held on Friday, October 6 outside in the front driveway of the school.  The ceremony was attended by students, staff, parents, community members, dignitaries, alumni, and others.  Following the ceremony, the students shared a special neighborhood parade for everyone to enjoy.  On Saturday, Oct. 7, the school staff and the PTO hosted a 50th Anniversary Open House for alumni, former staff members, and the entire community to explore and reminisce all the wonderful memories of 50 years of Sorrento.  Many stories were shared and a good time was had by all.  The hallways featured displays of old yearbooks, T-shirts, photos, and other memorabilia.
