On behalf of the Fern Ridge faculty and staff, I would like to welcome our community to a new school year. At Fern Ridge, we have a specific why, what and how that is unique to the Parkway community. Our mission is also unique to our school -- personalize education while building relationships to help students reach their greatest potential and future goals by focusing equally on academic, physical, social, and emotional needs in a healthy learning environment. Biography:
Dr. Sarah Power supports Fern Ridge and MO Options programs in the Parkway School District. She was an assistant principal at Parkway Central High School for 16 years. Dr. Power began her career in the classroom, serving as a Social Studies teacher for 5 years at Lafayette High School in the Rockwood School District. She holds a doctoral degree in educational leadership from St. Louis University, a master’s degree in educational administration from Lindenwood University, and a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from University of Missouri - Columbia. Dr. Power is married to her husband and has two wonderful children.
