Welcome to Highcroft Ridge. At Highcroft, we greatly value a connection between school and family. One important aspect of that relationship is effective communication. Our goal is for our website to be a primary source of information about the school and a way to communicate effectively on a day to day basis. We know that our students will only be fully successful with a solid partnership between home and school. If you ever have a question, need assistance, or want to celebrate a success, please do not hesitate to call or email us.
Cartelia and Diana
I am excited to serve as the principal of Highcroft Ridge Elementary. Before this role, I was the assistant principal at Ross Elementary and served as Highcroft’s administrative intern for two years before moving to Ross. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Education, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and an Education Specialist in Educational Leadership all from Webster University. Over the course of my educational career, I have taught third grade and special reading, as well as supported students and teachers through literacy and instructional coaching. I have two daughters who benefit from their Parkway education. I enjoy running, baking, walks with my husband, and spending time with my family and friends.
Mrs. Cartelia Lucas
I began my education as a kindergartner in Parkway at Craig Elementary School and graduated from Parkway North High School. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Missouri State and then taught eighth-grade English and history at Parkway Central Middle School. I completed my Master’s degree at Maryville University with an emphasis on educational technology. For five years, after leaving Central Middle, I supported eighth graders throughout the district in a program called REACH and then moved to South Middle to become an Instructional Coach. I completed my Specialist degree in Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia (Go Tigers!) and joined the Highcroft administration team in 2016. I enjoy golfing with my husband, traveling with my two daughters and taking my dog for walks in the park.
