Meet the Principals
Dr. Gina Piccinni, Principal
It is my pleasure and greatest honor to welcome you to Pierremont Elementary! It is our mission to help you and every child feel welcomed, connected and a part of the Pierremont family. I am very proud to be part of the Pierremont community, which is known for its strong family involvement, dedication to excellence, and, most importantly, to its children. The staff at Pierremont supports high levels of learning through collaboration and high expectations for all students. Our loving environment supports the growth of the whole child and celebrates the diversity of our school community.
I have worked for more than 27 years as an administrator and an elementary teacher. I started my career in my native state of California. With my husband, I transferred to Texas before moving to the St. Louis area. I have been an administrator in Parkway for eight years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside, a master’s degree in Education Administration from West Texas A&M University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Walden University.
I am especially proud to be working with Assistant Principal Megan Clemenson. Together we will continue to make Pierremont a place where students love to be, a place where they feel valued, cared for, and successful. My door is always open, and I welcome your communication. Please feel free to stop in, call, or email me anytime.
Megan Clemenson, Assistant Principal
My name is Megan Clemenson, and I am very honored to be your Assistant Principal. I have been a Pierremont Panther since 2010, and I feel very lucky to say that Pierremont is my home away from home! The Pierremont community is dear to my heart, and I am here to serve you.
Before coming to Pierremont, I taught in St. Louis Public schools, Riverview Gardens, and Hazelwood School District. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Lindenwood University. I bring many years of experience in cultural responsiveness, having served on the Parkway Equity and Inclusion Committee for many years.
At home, my husband and I have two boys, Aidan and Parker, and we have two dogs, Yuri and Benny. My family at home loves Pierremont just as much as me and enjoy being part of fun events we have throughout the year.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or information you want to share. We are a partnership, working together to ensure that all students are happy and successful! I take pride in being a Panther, and I am so glad you are part of our family! 😀 Megan
