Dr. Gina Piccinni, Principal
It is my pleasure and greatest honor to welcome you to Pierremont Elementary! It is our mission to help you and every child feel welcomed, connected and a part of the Pierremont family. I am very proud to be part of the Pierremont community, which is known for its strong family involvement, dedication to excellence, and, most importantly, to its children. The staff at Pierremont supports high levels of learning through collaboration and high expectations for all students. Our loving environment supports the growth of the whole child and celebrates the diversity of our school community.
I have worked for more than 27 years as an administrator and an elementary teacher. I started my career in my native state of California. With my husband, I transferred to Texas before moving to the St. Louis area. I have been an administrator in Parkway for eight years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside, a master’s degree in Education Administration from West Texas A&M University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Walden University.
I am especially proud to be working with Assistant Principal Megan Clemenson. Together we will continue to make Pierremont a place where students love to be, a place where they feel valued, cared for, and successful. My door is always open, and I welcome your communication. Please feel free to stop in, call, or email me anytime.
Go Panthers!
Gina
Megan Clemenson, Assistant Principal
My name is Megan Clemenson, and I am very honored to be your Assistant Principal! I have been a Pierremont Panther for ten years as a classroom teacher in both the primary and intermediate grades. I have been an educator for 24 years, and I feel very lucky to say that Pierremont is my home away from home.
Before coming to Pierremont, I was a teacher in the Hazelwood and Riverview Gardens School Districts, which is where I began my journey around cultural responsiveness and diversity. I have continued this work in Parkway by being part of the Diversity in Action Team, and I am looking forward to continuing to grow and learn from all of the wonderful families at Pierremont.
At home, I have two boys, Aidan and Parker. Aidan is a sophomore, and Parker is in the seventh grade. My husband and I are learning to adjust to life with teenagers, who apparently know more than we do!
While there may be some changes or adjustments to the way school operates due to health guidelines, I want you all to know that I am here to help you. Feel free to reach out to me with questions, concerns, or suggestions. Dr. Piccinni and I are here for you, and we want to work together to make sure your family has a fantastic school year!
