Welcome to Pierremont, a school with a strong history of high expectations, traditions, and student-centered learning. At Pierremont, we remain focused on the Parkway School District Mission and are grounded by our five core values: Kindness, Respect, Honesty, Perseverance and Responsibility. With our dedicated, experienced staff, we are a positive and caring school community focused on challenging students to grow and learn in their character and academics.
Meet the Principal
My name is Gina Piccinni, and I am so excited to introduce myself as Pierremont's new Principal. I am very proud to be part of the Pierremont community, which is known for its strong family involvement, dedication to excellence, and most importantly, to its children.
I have worked for more than 26 years as an administrator and an elementary teacher, including seven years as a Parkway administrator. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology frm the University of California, Riverside, a master's degree in Education Administration from West Texas A&M University, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Walden University.
I am especially proud to be working with Assistant Principal Kiara Lackey. Together we will continue to make Pierremont a place where students love to be, a place where they feel valued, cared for, and successful. My door is always open, and I welcome your input. Please feel free to stop in, call, or email me to discuss any suggestions you may have to help our school continue to grow.
Meet the Assistant Principal
Hello! I'm Kiara Lackey and I am thrilled to be returning for my sixth year as Assistant Principal of our very special school. With 25 years in education and three children of my own, I bring a passion for educating the whole child - the heart and the mind - and for supporting families and teachers in doing the same.
Before coming to Pierremont in 2014, I served nine years as an elementary and middle school teacher, then eleven in curriculum and instruction, all in the Parkway School District. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from St. Louis University, a master's in Educational Processes from Maryville University, a master's in Administration from Lindenwood University, and am currently completing my Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration at Lindenwood.
I feel extremely blessed to be part of such an awesome school community, where staff and families work side by side to ensure the very best for our students. I can't wait to see what the new year brings. Dr. Piccinni and I are excited to get started!
