I attended Parkway Schools growing up, I'm a proud Parkway graduate, and I reside in the Parkway School District. I graduated from the University of Missouri, and I received my Master's degree and K-12 Gifted Certification from Maryville University. Upon graduation, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade in the Rockwood School District. I started teaching MOSAICS in Parkway in 2006 at McKelvey Elementary, and I joined Oak Brook Elementary in 2023.
When I'm not at school, I have a full and busy life with my family. I have 4 grown daughters, and I'm also a grandma. My favorite hobbies are reading, cooking, baking, gardening, playing pickleball and practicing yoga. I also enjoy cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs and visiting new restaurants around the St. Louis area.
The best part of my job is guiding students to realize all their strengths and capabilities and learning new things right alongside my students.
