Welcome to Kindergarten!  My name is Lisa Campbell and this is my fourth year teaching kindergarten at McKelvey.  I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood and elementary education from the University of Central Missouri and a master's degree in education with a literacy certification from Maryville University.  My husband and I have a daughter named Alyssa who is in sixth grade and a son named Aiden who is in fourth grade.  Over the summer we enjoyed spending time at the beach and visiting some of our favorite St. Louis attractions like the Botanical Gardens and Magic House.

In kindergarten we work hard and have a lot of fun!  In addition to learning about reading and writing and studying number concepts, students will enjoy learning about weather and seasons, living things, maps, wants and needs, and so much more!  Students have opportunities to use their imaginations, be creative and learn to be problem solvers.

Please note Parkway's Food Policy in regards to classroom snacks.  Classrooms must remain food free whenever possible.  This means that we are not able to serve party or birthday treats.

In the event of an emergency or change in your child's dismissal plans, please email or call me before 2:30If you have not received a reply from me by 2:30 please follow up with a phone call to the office at 314-415-6500 to ensure your child gets home safely.

If you are calling to report a student absence, please call the main office.  The main office number is 314-415-6500.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.  Email is usually the quickest way to reach me, but I also can also return phone calls during my plan time.
