The GOALS of the PCH Theatre Parents are to:
1. Increase the public’s understanding of the value of theatre in the educational system.
PCH Theatre Parents sponsor programs which are intended to increase support for the theatre arts in the school system by communicating its importance and providing information to the public about the art form.
2. Increase the quality of the PCH Theatre facility.
Technical support is strongly needed in order to maintain the existing facility as well as replacing outdated or non-replaceable equipment. The PCH Theatre Parents will make an annual purchase for the PCH Theatre Department in hopes of increasing the quality of the equipment needed to run a successful theatre program.
3. Provide increase networking opportunities for theatre students.
The organization seeks to increase the students’ personal skills and knowledge of theatre arts by recognizing their achievement in the theatre arts. An annual scholarship is given to a graduating senior/s majoring in theatre who meet the requirements set forth by the PCH Theatre Parents.
