Sandy Geyer Miller [PNH'73]

I was a career Graphic Designer in St. Louis for decades; in my spare time, became a NAUI scuba instructor for 20 years traveling to a variety on international destinations and doing underwater photography. I took up ceramics in 2004; got my BFA in ceramics at SIUE in 2008 in five semesters; retired to Cookeville, Tn in 2011 and have had an in-home ceramic studio since 2012. I actively do land photography, computer graphics and (recently) pour painting in addition to ceramics. I also do a lot of volunteering, offering my talents and computer skills to various organizations here in Cookeville. I sell my ceramic work at Tennessee Tech University’s Appalachian Center for Craft, local shows, and online through my website. I travel and hike regional and nationally with my wonderful husband of 37 years, Bill Miller, and we have two Chihuahuas, one that I do agility with.
