12/8/2017 -- The Parkway School District has been ranked as the fifth best school district in the state according to Niche K-12's 2018 rankings.

The following Parkway schools also received high rankings.

Central High - 6^th in state

North High – 16^th in state

South High – 1^st in state

West High – 8^th in state

Central Middle – 4^th in state

South Middle – 9^th in state

West Middle – 2^nd in state

McKelvey Elementary – 5^th in state

Pierremont Elementary – 12^th in state

Shenandoah Valley – 11^th in state
