6/20/2018 – Parkway students entering the military were honored at a recent board of education meeting. We are extremely proud of them and are grateful for the service they are about to give to our country.

This is the time of year when we celebrate the accomplishments of graduates and look forward to the next chapter in their lives.  While many students are making plans to go to college or enter the workforce, some are getting ready for boot camp or other similar training as they embark on a career in the military. Some will serve for only a few years, while others will serve for 20 or even 30 years. We know this because we have witnessed many students join the military over the years and you just never know where the path will lead.  Some of them will find their true calling through military service, as we have seen with a number of Parkway’s Alumni Hall of Fame recipients.
