6/1/2023 -- South Middle School has been named a 2023 National School of Character. In addition, Central Middle and Early Childhood were renewed as National Schools of Character.

National certification is the highest level of distinction bestowed by Character.org. Schools receiving this designation have demonstrated a focus on character development which has positively impacted academic achievement, student behavior and school climate.

Parkway now has 19 National Schools of Character.
