GROUP CONNECTIONS
Group Connections are one of the four components of the Parents as Teachers program. Families are presented with child development information & interact with other families. Some group connections are for parents/caregivers and children to attend together. Other group connections are for "parents only" to learn more about a specific parenting topic. See below for our current Group Connections. We hope to see you soon at the newly renovated Parkway Early Childhood Center or via Zoom!
Panda Playtime

Panda Playtime is a FREE Parkway Parents as Teachers event for Parkway families with children ages Birth - 36 months. This is a great time for your child to learn and develop social skills while playing with others. We set up the fun & the children decide how to play. Stay for as long as you choose. Because of safety concerns, enrollment is limited.
Songs, Stories & Sillies

Special Event: "Parent & Me: Storybook Walk"
Parkway-Rockwood Community Education is partnering with Rockwood PAT and Parkway PAT for an ALL NEW program at the Babler Outdoor Education Center on Saturday, May 6 from 10:00-11:00 am. Indulge in nature and experience "reading" a story with your child accompanied by a short hike on the beautiful grounds of Babler State Park. In this program, you and your child engage with other families, nature-based activities, and each other in new ways that you can adopt into your everyday leisure time. Plant seeds together to keep and care for at home.
This event is suitable for parents and their children ages 2-5 years. The fee is $25. Register on the Parkway-Rockwood Community Education website. Registration is not available on this website.
