McKelvey

       I am originally from Overland Park, Kansas, and decided to make the leap over the state line, in order to fulfill my dream of becoming a teacher. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri and my Master's degree from Southwest Baptist University. I have one older sister who graduated from Kansas State University, and my dad graduated from the University of Kansas, so my family is quite divided. :) In my spare time, I enjoy staying active, reading, spending time with family & friends, and playing with my dogs, Bentley & Charlotte.

This will be my sixth year of teaching 3rd grade! I spent my first year of teaching in the Blue Springs School District and then made the move to McKelvey for my second year of teaching. I have always taught third grade, and have absolutely loved every minute of it. I cannot wait to get to know each and every one of you and I am very excited to meet your sweet kiddos! It is my goal that your child’s third-grade experience will be filled with personal growth as a thinker and learner. I TRULY enjoy what I do and I am excited to share my love and enthusiasm with your child!
