• Good Morning Parkway North!  Today is April 17, 2019 and here are your morning announcements!

     

    Finals are coming! need some help? The PNH NHS is hosting a LEMONADE tutoring session after school tuesday wednesday and thursday the 23,24,25 in the CLC. Come drink some lemonade and get a step ahead in preparing for end of the year tests and finals. ANY subject is welcome!"

     

     

    Color Guard Auditions will be April 29-May 3 from 6-8pm. Under new staffing, students will learn and perform with the Marching Vikings in their 2019 Fall Season. No experience is necessary but a background in dance ,theatre, or gymnastics is always welcome. Come dressed to dance and bring a friend. Sign up lists are posted by the band room. We hope to see you there!!

     

    April is National Poetry Month and in order to celebrate, Savage Stanzas is hosting a poetry open mic in the theater during lab --both priorities--on Monday, April 22. You can come and hear some original work by your classmates.  Or if you are feeling the muse, you can read your own original work for a supportive audience. If you want to perform a school appropriate poem, scan the QR code on one of the flyers around school.  See Ms. Pomerantz in the library loft for more information.

     

     

    Senior directed One Acts are just around the corner. Come see them on April 25th and April 26th for a chance to witness the best acting Parkway North has to offer. Kendall Rice and Justin Welge are directing, as well as an original piece by Danielle Goldberg and scene work from Mr. Little’s Actor Studio 1 class. This will be a batch of One acts you won’t want to miss. Tickets are on sale now @pnhtheatre.booktix.com and are only $5.00! 

     

     

     

    The Junior class proudly presents Enchanted Garden--Prom 2019! Tickets are now on sale until April 29. Prom will be held on Saturday, May 4, at the Sheraton Westport Plaza Lakeside Chalet at 7:00.

    To buy a ticket, you must bring your student ID. If you are buying for a date who attends a different school, you must have their student ID also and your date will have to fill out a guest form that you can pick up in the bookstore.

    You will sign up for a table when you purchase a ticket. The earlier you purchase a ticket, the greater the chances that you will reserve the table you want.

     

     

     

    Attention Seniors!  Could you use $1000 dollars? If so, this could be your chance! 2 talented seniors will receive $1000 dollar awards for their creative talent. To qualify you must be a Parkway North Senior, graduating this May. You must also complete your application for the Kyle E. Palmer Award! This Award is based on Creativity and your Application Paperwork not your GPA. Please see the flyers up around the building, your Senior AcLab teacher, Mr. Little, Ms. Wills, Dr. Page, Wendi Lucchesi or Ms. Brown for more information!
