    UMSL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD:

Each semester, high schools participating in the Advanced Credit Program through UMSL are awarded student scholarships based on their enrollment in the program.  The scholarships were established for students with financial needs.  This semester, West High has been awarded ONE scholarship.

    Please note:

--The student should complete the ACP registration process by the registration deadline.  The scholarship will be awarded after the student has enrolled in the course.

--A scholarship pays for one course per semester.  If a student enrolls in more than one course, the ACP scholarship will pay for the course with the highest credit hours.   A student is eligible to receive only one scholarship per semester.

--Students should pay attention to the due dates on the billing statement from the University.  If a student makes a payment before the scholarship is processed, a refund will be sent to the student when the scholarship is applied.

--Scholarships may be split in half.  A student who receives a half scholarship should be advised of his responsibility to pay his portion of the student fee.  If a student does not pay by the due date, he will be dropped for nonpayment and will forfeit the half scholarship.

To be considered for the scholarship, students must submit in writing any information they feel would be beneficial in determining eligibility and explain how the scholarship would help them advance in their future goals.  This must be turned in to the Counseling office.

    Registration and Applications

The online registration process occurs during the first 2-4 weeks of each semester. Students will be notified about registration dates by the faculty or staff at their school.

Payments are not accepted at the time of registration. UMSL will invoice students after applications have been processed.
