Miracle Network Dance Marathon is a program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals). CMN Hospitals raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals that support the health of 10 million kids each year across the U.S. and Canada. Donations benefit local member hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these health services.
At Parkway Central, our program helps to support children and families that are currently at St. Louis Children's Hospital and Cardinal Glennon. The Dance Marathon organization focuses on recruiting community members, students, and faculty to support Children's Miracle Network. We plan for the Dance Marathon event, which is a celebration of the money raised and the Miracle Families. We invite local children and their families who are currently undergoing treatment to join us and share their stories. There is dancing, games, prizes, and a celebration of one generation fighting for the next. The funds go towards programs, medical supplies, and treatments that are not regularly supported or covered by insurance. To learn more about Dance Marathon at a nationwide level, please click here.
Dance Marathon will take place on February 11th, 2023. If you would like to donate to the 2022-2023 event, please click here.
Applications are NOW AVAILABLE and will be due by 11:59pm on Monday, August 29th. All leadership positions will be announced at 3pm on Friday, September 2nd.
