High School Heroes

Sponsor: Joni Patton (Social Studies)
High School Heroes is a drug prevention program led by high school students. The program is geared toward 6th-grade students, focusing on e-cigarettes, marijuana, CBD, and mental wellness. The high school heroes are student facilitators who present many hands-on demonstrations, including upbeat lessons focusing on health risks and resistance training. High School Heroes serve as educators and mentors, providing 6th-grade students with essential information and the opportunity to see their “Heroes” as healthy role models.
