• High School Equivalency & Adult Basic Education  


  • We offer a variety of free adult education services for individuals 17 and older.  Classes are individualized.  Students work at their own pace on the skills they need.

    In classes you will:

    • Improve basic reading, writing, and math skills
    • Develop Workforce skills
    • Prepare for the Missouri High School Equivalency Tests (HSE/GED)
    • Prepare for Postsecondary Education
    • Prepare for the WorkKeys and Job Placement tests

    By attending classes you can:

    • Invest in your future

    • Earn your HS diploma/credential
    • Qualify for a better job
    • Prepare for college or a technical school
  • SUMMER 2024 Schedule - Summer registration is closed.  See fall registration link below.    

    Registration for summer classes is now closed.  Summer classes begin July 8th and continue until August 14th.  All students (including former students) must test prior to beginning summer classes.  Testing will be in June at the Community Learning Center and will take two days to complete.  After our office has reviewed your application, a staff member will contact you to sign up for testing.

    Fall classes begin Monday, September 9th, and new students are added to class every month.  All classes are in-person.  Students must be tested prior to beginning class.  Once our office receives your application, a staff member will contact you regarding testing and orientation.
