“How does it help kids?”
It’s a question that one of my school board colleagues consistently asked whenever we struggled with a decision. The answer should guide us down the right path and should frame every action we take as a board and as a district.
I am seeking re-election to the Parkway School Board so that I can continue to ask that question and continue to help this district achieve its mission: to ensure all students are capable, curious, caring and confident learners who understand and respond to the challenges of an ever-changing world.
I have been fortunate enough to be entrusted by this community to serve on this Board for six years and I hope that I have earned the opportunity to continue to serve. If re-elected I hope to help Parkway maintain and improve it’s standing and reputation and also to be an advocate for this district and all of public education.Todd Williams
Best Teachers, Safest Schools, Excellent Opportunities
As a taxpayer and father of a child attending Parkway West High School, I pledge to ensure that as taxes and budgets increase, our priority spending should be in the classrooms, not the administrative offices. We must attract and keep the best teachers. Also in my first term as a director on the Parkway Board of Education I will vow to fight for School Resource Officers (SRO's) in all elementary schools in the Parkway District and not just our high schools and middle schools. Finally, I want to make sure we as taxpayers in the Parkway School District have those Excellent Opportunities when we send our children to school everyday.
