Testing Requirements for College Admissions
- Many colleges now consider ACT or SAT scores as an optional component of the college admissions review. It is always best to check each individual college website for their most up-to-date policy information, but there are also a few online resources to help.

Requesting Accommodations
- Most accommodation requests need to be submitted 1-2 months prior to a test date. Final approval is made by the testing agency, and typically requires students to have a formal IEP or 504 Plan which reflects the testing accommodations being requested. ACT often does not approve accommodations for recent diagnoses. Please refer to the document below for details.
