Security Dispatchers truly are "first responders" and serve as the link between citizens and officers.  Their primary function is communication - receiving, disseminating, and recording information.  In addition, Security Dispatchers monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems (including intrusion, fire, power, HVAC, etc.), and Parkway's Safety Tip Line.   An important function is making timely and proper notifications during crisis situations and reporting updates as circumstances warrant.  No doubt, Security Dispatchers are integral members of Team Security!
