Emergency Preparations
-
In accordance with Missouri law, the Parkway School District has established an emergency procedure in every school building. Each school principal has designated areas in the building that are best suited for the protection of students during emergencies.
In addition to monthly fire drills, the principal conducts two tornado drills, two earthquake drills and two lockdown drills during the school year. The drills simulate emergency procedures that would be implemented under such conditions. Each school maintains a record of the date and time of each emergency drill.
