Laptops - Sound Issues

  •  No sound is coming from the laptop.
    Check to make sure the sound is not muted. In the bottom right of the screen by the cock. Check to make sure the speaker icon does not have a white x. speaker  If it has a White X:
        1. Click the speaker icon to bring up the volume bar
        2. Click the speaker icon on the left of the volume bar. This should Un-Mute the laptop.

    The other way to check to see if the sound muted is by the Speaker Key by the wirelss key. It should be illuminated white and not amber.

    If the speaker icon has a Red X and when clicked opens the trouble shooter. Please contact the Help Desk as this is a Driver issue.

     

    If these tips have not resolved the issues you are having. Try rebooting your PC.
