• Zoom Meeting Stalled at "Connecting."

    If you are trying to join a Zoom Class and getting stuck at the "Connecting" screen, please try the following:

    • Close all of your Zoom windows with X at the top right of each window. Use the "Student Zoom Account Sign-In" information above to sign into your Zoom account, then try the link again.

    • If you are still stuck, completely shut down your Chromebook by pressing and holding on the power button. Power the Chromebook on with the same power button. Sign back into your Chromebook. You will be signed back into Zoom automatically. Open a new tab, then naviagate to you classes Zoom link and try again. 

    • If you are still stuck at "Connecting," it may be necessary to reboot your home router (Even if other devices are connecting OK). Power off your Chromebook, then unplug the power cable from the back of the router. The router usually has 2 or 3 antennas. Wait about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. After the router has rebooted, power your Chromebook back on, sign back in, and try the Zoom link again.
