Distance\Virtual Learning Days: Operations Staff Checklist

  • After the district closes for the 2nd snow day, we will go into preparation for the 4th snow day to ensure proper work flow for the district will be available. 

    • Do you have a Parkway laptop to use at home? If not, contact your school's Technology Specialist or the Help Desk.

    • Now that you have your Parkway laptop, You will need to use a VPN connection to access certain applications. Here is information on VPN Access. You will need this to access WorkForce, and Munis. Please note that VPN access only works with non-Parkway Internet. It will not work inside the district.

    • If you have a virtual meeting, you may need to use Zoom to join the meeting. Here is information on Zoom Access.

    Note: Access to VPN will be turned on once the inclement weather virtual learning day (Day 4) is announced. It will only be active for the day and any subsequent inclement weather days.
